Privacy Policy

Last updated: 12 October 2026

This website, My Product Factory™ (myproductfactory.com), is operated by My Product Factory™ ("we", "us", "our"). We respect your privacy and handle personal information in line with the Australian Privacy Principles in the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth). This policy explains what we collect, why, who we share it with, and the choices you have.

1. What we collect

Information you give us

  • Your email address, only if you choose to enter it on our "notify me" form (for example, when a product is sold out).

Information collected automatically when you visit

  • Activity on the site: which page you viewed, which product option you selected, and whether you clicked "Buy now" or submitted the notify-me form.
  • An anonymous visitor ID, a random code stored in a cookie on your device, so we can count unique visitors rather than page loads.
  • Advertising information: if you arrive from one of our ads, details such as the ad campaign and the Meta click identifier in the link you followed.
  • Technical information: your IP address, browser type, device and approximate location, which are received by our hosting provider and, for advertising measurement, by Meta (see section 4).

We do not collect payment card details, and no payment is taken on this website.

2. Why we collect it

  • To email you if the product you asked about becomes available.
  • To understand how many people are interested in each product, so we can decide what to offer.
  • To measure and improve our advertising, and to show our ads to people likely to be interested.
  • To keep the website secure and working properly.

If you give us your email address, we use it for the notify-me purpose above and not for unrelated marketing. Any marketing email we send will include a way to opt out.

3. Cookies and similar technologies

Cookie Set by Purpose Lifespan
Visitor ID Us Counts unique visitors; does not identify you personally 1 year
Meta cookies (such as _fbp, _fbc) Meta Pixel Advertising measurement and optimisation Up to 90 days

You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. The site will still work, but your visits may be counted more than once.

4. Meta (Facebook and Instagram)

We use the Meta Pixel and Meta's Conversions API. They send Meta information about your activity on this website, such as page views, "Buy now" clicks and notify-me submissions. If you submit your email address, it is sent to Meta in hashed (scrambled) form, along with your IP address and browser details, so Meta can match the activity to its users for measurement and ad delivery. Meta handles that information under its own privacy policy. You can control how Meta uses your information for ads in your Meta account's ad settings.

5. Who else handles your information

We use service providers to run this website, including Cloudflare (hosting, database, file storage and email handling). They process information on our behalf and only for those purposes. We do not sell your personal information, and we do not disclose it to others except as described here, or where required or authorised by law.

6. Overseas disclosure

Our providers, including Cloudflare and Meta, operate globally, so your information may be processed in countries other than Australia, including the United States. We take reasonable steps to use providers that protect personal information to a standard comparable to Australian law.

7. How long we keep it

We keep email addresses until you ask us to delete them or until the product you asked about is no longer being considered, whichever comes first. Activity data is kept in a form that does not identify you personally for as long as it is useful for analysis.

8. Security

We take reasonable steps to protect personal information from misuse, interference, loss and unauthorised access, including encrypted connections (HTTPS) and restricted administrative access. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure.

9. Your rights

You can ask us to tell you what personal information we hold about you, to correct it, or to delete it, and you can ask us to remove your email address from our list at any time. Email us at help@myproductfactory.com from the address concerned and we will respond within 30 days.

If you are in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom or a similar jurisdiction, you may also have rights to object to or restrict our processing and to withdraw consent. Our legal bases are your consent (for your email address) and our legitimate interest in understanding demand and measuring advertising (for activity data).

10. Children

This website is not directed at children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect their personal information. If you believe a child has given us their email address, contact us and we will delete it.

11. Complaints

If you have a concern about how we handled your personal information, contact us at help@myproductfactory.com and we will investigate and reply. If you are not satisfied, you can complain to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC) at oaic.gov.au.

12. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The "last updated" date above shows when it last changed, and the current version is always on this page.
